why is youtube showing me right-wing advertisement multiple times (FPÖ talking about "foreign infiltration", and some undefined guy/party making misanthropist fun of Falter)? their racism and their fear mongering fascist taste is so ugly. it depresses me. it angers me. and it frightens me. this is not to be taken lightly. this is dangerous. I want it to stop. I‘m going to keep my eyes open. I’m going to speak up. and when I can‘t, I will take my time to be on the mend, to rebuild my faith in myself and humanity itself, to find the strength to go on, to strive to make the world a better place, for everyone and everything in it. I ask you to do the same. that would be so awesome. thank you <3
one way for me to get better is to listen to music. it sounds like a cliché, I know, and it is true: it's like listening to friends, telling stories, cheering me up, or giving me the feeling to be heard. to not be alone. providing me with a place where I belong. giving me the room to let it all out. and encouraging me to go on.
one of my most beloved musicians are radiohead. my fandom would have earned something like a master's degree by now, if it would be a person with a model academic career. this is them, letting me freak out, allowing me to generate new energy by shaking shit off. (hopefully without further infuriating ads)
